In the last couple of months, The Spindle searched for those brilliant innovators that work on new digital initiatives that contribute to an inclusive and sustainable world. As announced before, 60 applicants found their way to our call for the “Most Inspiring Digital Innovations 2020”. We are still happy and thankful that so many inspiring initiatives put their effort into this application. Recently, we presented to you the Expert Group consisting of digital experts from, for example, Kenya and Bangladesh. After careful deliberation and scoring, they announced which 30 initiatives belong to the 30 Most Inspiring Digital Innovations (MIDIs) 2020. Plunge into this inspiring digital world by checking the selected initiatives below!
But first, what do they win? And where can you ‘meet’ them?
A Personal Pitch Video. A professional film-maker produces a nicely styled pitch video for each selected initiative which they can use for expanding the visibility of the digital innovations. Besides, these videos will be shared on both The Spindle’s and Partos’ online channels which will reach a wide network of professionals working in development cooperation.
Participate in an online co-creation session (September 15) in which they’ll tackle a particular challenge in their road to success. In an energetic, good facilitated process the MIDIs work together with on each other’s challenges and find solutions created by peer digital innovators.
Exposure during the online Partos Innovation Festival (October 9). Each selected initiative gets the opportunity to present their digital innovation during the last day of the festival to a crowd of NGOs, government and other interested (private) actors.
